Any help would be appreciated-1501
Hi,
I'm new to this site and stumbled upon it while trying to find out some info on a Rolex (or what appears to be a Rolex) that was in an old box of stuff I bought. The watch does not appear to be working, maybe a battery, maybe more, I have no idea. The back is marked 1501, its gold tone, black face, what appear to be diamonds for the numbers, the top has the days of the week that go around following the curve of the face, the date and the magnifier on the right, the face says Rolex w/ the crown on top and underneath it says "OYSTER PERPETUAL DAY-DATE". The bottom says "SUPERLATIVELY CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED". I guess my question is, is it worth taking and maybe getting fixed and can they be fixed, or am I better off to sell it for parts and if parts is the way to go, any idea what its worth if anything? Any help you can give is greatly appreciated...thank you in advance Last edited by new kid; 12 December 2010 at 05:13 AM.. Reason: mis spelled |
