Hello From Afghanistan (FOB Sharana)
Hello to everyone on the board! I am a new member and am waiting on my Rolex to show up in the mail which I bought online. It is coming all the way here to Afghanistan from the US and should take about 10 days max to arrive. I bought the 14060(M) with a V serial number and I cant wait to see her! I love the clean look of this particular model and the fact that its a Sub and the history and craftsmanship that has gone into it. Anyway, it is my first Rolex and not sure if my last, lol. I will post pics. when it does arrive and I have to leave it alone for a month then have her sized when I go to Dubai in a month on my way to Thailand which I will get plenty of pics to post in the correct forums. Lots of great info. on the site by the way and I appreciate all the contributions!
About me: Just your average expat working abroad and traveling to different locations every 3 to 4 months. Work in Afghanistan for the time being and have lived/worked in Honduras, Ecuador, Curacao, Iraq and now Afghanistan. Prior US Air Force now doing the same job but as a civilian in the contract world. Logistics Civil Augmentation Program IV; LOGCAP 4! Have owned a Movado which was stolen in Honduras from my quarters on base in 2004; currently own a Tag Heuer Aquaracer 2010 A0804 if I remember correctly which is beautiful as well. I cant wait to see the Rolex though! I dont like watches with too much going on hence me liking the 14060M so much; less is more. I do like the white faced Daytona though...hmmm Thanks all! |
