2nd Post: 1680 Red Sub, 379xxxx

Here is the other watch i've inherited. After doing some research, I realize that the red sub is a desirable watch. I just had it fixed up and I took off the bracelet to put it on a "nato" style strap since I don't care for metal bracelets. The tritium is slightly off white. It's never been polished, and my father kept in pretty good shape considering its over 30 years old! I want to say thank you to several of the members here whose posts I've studied anonymously as I learned more about this particular watch. I've entertained selling it to set up a fund for my son, but for now there's too much nostalgia. If anyone can give any insights into the watch other than what I know, I'd appreciate it. I know my dad bought it in the 70's, and wore it in rotation with several other watches he owned. Unfortunately, my mom says she threw out all the boxes when she cleaned out his old stuff. I'm not convinced he ever really kept them anyway. Thanks for looking and I look forward to learning more about the crazy world of vintage rolex watches!
