Vintage Rolex Gold Watch 6567

I have this Rolex watch. My father purchased it new between 1950 and 1955. It has a reference number of 6567 and is part gold / part stainless. It has been in storage for 30 years and runs smoothly. Any idea as to value. Most preowned rolex watches are valued at $1500 to $2500. Is this mainstream for this watch or based on the reference number is it more valuable. I did a search and found one other rolex with same reference number priced at $24K which was all gold but most all gold preowned are priced at $5000 to $8000. Thank to all you knowledgible rolex people.
