Storing my rolex
Ive been on a military watch bender lately and not wearing my Rolex watches, I have two of them, I dont have winder boxes, is it fine to just store them away in a safe place not running for long periods of time, even a year lets say, without touching it?
Please advise with health of my watch in mind. I dont mind winding it resetting time and date etc when I do decide to use it so a winder isnt needed for me but I dont see myself wearing them for a while with my current very casual lifestyle and I just want to put them away for future use or to hand down to kids later, IS IT OK TO STORE THEM NOT RUNNING for long periods of time and then just wind them up and use them later should I desire to? Are there lubricant issues with this? Etc |
