A Pepsi and a thank you - Tony Geha (justrolexes)
Back in 2008 I purchased a 16710B Pepsi with the 3186 movement new from a local AD. Something else soon caught my eye and few months later I listed and sold it. As soon as I left FedEx I knew that I made a mistake and wished that I had held on to it.
I’ve flipped dozens of watches over the years but that 16710B is the one that got away. I’ve thought about reacquiring one and have come close a few times but I’m extremely picky and just have not been able to find the right one at the right price. About a week ago I posted a WTB for an M-Series Pepsi w/ 3186 and was contacted by Tony Geha (AKA justrolexes) who said he had a BNIB M-Pepsi. I was really hesitant; I mean who has a 3-year-old watch BNIB with all stickers intact and totally unworn? After several e-mails back and forth FedEx delivered a NIB 16710B, Pepsi with 3186 to my door on Saturday courtesy of Tony Geha: Of all the people I’ve ever done a watch transaction with before Tony Geha is tops. He’s polite, meticulous, honest, responsive, fair and an unbelievable communicator. You send Tony and e-mail at any time and within seconds of hitting the send button he replies. Tony, thank you! You are a class act. Rob |
