Hello to everyone! My name is Henry and I am from Georgia. I have been reading these forums for the past several months but I thought I would take the time to register.

A little bit of why I'm here is because I've always wanted to own a Rolex. I grew up always wanting one and the closest thing I have is a knockoff Datejust my parents got for me when they were in Taiwan. Yes, I am rather ashamed but we are not a family of means and they meant well.

Nevertheless, earlier today I went to my local AD and had an order placed for a brand new SS Submariner Date! Today feels like a huge milestone. This watch means a lot to me. After weathering waves of layoffs at work, working weekends, and hitting a few snags that ate away at money I had tucked away, the time has come! Hopefully, without any delays, this watch will be on my wrist by the end of next week and I know all the trouble was worth it.
