New Alpina Extreme Regulator limited edition, thought it was worth a quick review

As some of you will know i rarely write any form of review on any watch be it Rolex Omega Panerai etc BUT this is a lesser known high end brand that have revamped themselves in recent years. I kept seeing them in Watchtime, International watch etc and always thought they looked quite cool and original. So i have been searching for a few weeks deciding what to get ( breitling , omega , Anonimo and then i stumbled across this yesterday From a seller in OZ. $2000 and 24 hours later its mine!!!

This has an RRP of $7100 and the only other i could find was going for $4500 so i thought its worth a shot,as i couldnt lose so to speak.
Its A limited edition of 125 Alpina Extreme Regulator PVD with Solid rose Gold bezel ( not Plated)

46mm Stainless steel PVD case. Solid Rose Gold Bezel
Soft and supple rubber strap but will not take any other size unless you have it specially made. So thats a negative but not too bad.
Deployant clasp PVD with name engraved on clasp.
Original and unique dial design
The contrast of the PVD and rose gold has me drooling right now;)

ADD all that to an IN HOUSE 25 jewel swiss automatic movement and you have quite an impressive watch for $2000. I am absolutely dleighted with it.
The quality is wonderful, up there with the top of them and i have scrutined it carefully and really cannot see any imperfections. the shape and curves of the case or impressively done.

Its a slim case so at 46mm its not overbearing once on and it is extremely comfortable as the Rubber strap is very soft. Only other down side is that there is no seconds hand. wonder why???
The crown is excellent and decorated well .... and winds nicely/is very smooth

The pictures will show you all the detail and quality of the watch.

To sum up :
If like me you had seen these and thought they were interesting but never had the courage to try unseen or questioned the quality, teh rest assured dont worry at all. There are a few models in the Regulator range but this one stands out a mile and is not too in your face either IMHO

and please excuse my spelling and grammar
