Perth, Australia showing Rolex 40% off - modem burner
Well I had a small window to take a 3 day vacation and the flights and fare were right so I travelled to Western Australia where there is a pretty wild bunch of guys.......
Dalip invited me to stay with him at Fremantle but after seeing the facade I decided to find my own lodgings......nevertheless a very hospitable jesture......but some how I don't like 'maximum security' when I'm on holidays The place of choice in/near Perth is Fremantle, its on the beach with lots of restaurants and night life. I got a great room at this Victorian guest house. Quiet and comfortable Victorian with home made hot breakfast included . Dalip wanted to grope the statues in the front garden but the Rose bushes were very thorny Dalip took me to Rosendorf's one of the best AD's in Australia. With the 40% discount on offer we decided to clean out the whole shop stock of Rolex...... However we were politely informed that "Rolex is never 40% off" and that we must have been drinking to excess if we thought otherwise After shopping.......and I so wanted that Rolex neck tie in the AD watch case..........but unfortunately it had a $32K price tag attached to it and they would throw in a Rose Gold Daytona for free!!!! So it was off for drinks with the guys Mitch, Sherwin, Des & Dalip. Sherwin had a great Oyster Date with the sweetest looking blue dial you have ever seen. I would buy that watch just for the metallic blue colour of the dial. And it contrasted so well with the colour of the amber fluid. I didn't take this photo hence it's clarity is despite my best photoshop efforts.....delerious.......and he had only had 1 drink John was chilling out...although the weather was about 30deg C at that time and it was just right for drinking beer and talking about watches. Peter a local watch dealer joined us for a drink. Then we went out for a very special Chinese dinner where Des very generously brought along 2 vintage Penfolds wines (the Rolex of Australian wines) 1996 and 1998 Bin 128. alas no 707 Des Dalip kept lecturing me about how much of a legend (like Lance Armstrong) he was on the bicycle and if he ever got the chance he was going to go for a ride he grind Dan Pierce into the dust. This is a 'Snow Crab' quite a delicacy along with a few of his lobster Aussie mates Dalip was contemplating buying that Rose Gold Daytona, now he just had to work out a strategy to convince his wife to take out a second mortgage on the house Mitch was very responsible with his alcohol but he did have a habit of playing the drums with his chop sticks Yes it is a big one, just watch out for those nippers Des you have no idea......without a left hand your watch might slip off your arm Doesn't that look and it was I can say from personal experience And one more from a better angle Then it was onto the Lobster, poor fella!! Des ordered it with ginger and noodles. It tasted great and John loved those noodles John's meteorite dial Daytona came in for a lot of attention, the meteorite dial is a beauty.
