New Guy!

Hello everyone, I've stalked this forum numerous times for a couple years now but never got into posting. Hopefully that will change with the newest acquisition, an SS GMTIIc. I'll still be reading more than posting, I'm certainly no Rolex expert... and the sticky at the top of this forum says my other hobby can't be mentioned here...

I'm proud to say I have my dream watch at 23 years old. I was going to wait a while longer, but I had a shot at an excellent price and I had the money (military pay isn't half bad if you're overseas with no other financial obligations!)

I'd love the gold band (or even two-tone) but one thing about the SS... I do love how you can wear it with shorts and a t-shirt or a full suit. Still fits! I've been eying a GMT since I first discovered the brand... though I always wanted the red/black bezel. I suppose when (if) Rolex comes out with the red/black ceramic I may need to spend some more money on a swap! For now, I have no complaints about the all black!

I look forward to talking with and (more importantly!) learning from all you guys here.
