To the op, I am on the hunt for 2007 year rolex for my now 4 year old son. I have the same issue was thinking the nodate sub, but could also go seadweller late z early M. The only diffrence is I plan to wear it untill I gift it to him in approx 20 years.
If sub -c was an option in 2007 that would be the one and that gets my vote for ur son.
