Would you take it swimming?
I know there´s a lot of similar threads on the forum, but I just can´t decide...
I´m leaving for vacation on thursday, and due to the travelling and places we´re going to stay I will only bring 1 watch. We´re spending one week on a cruise and a couple of weeks in a villa where we´re gonna spend some days in the pool, on the beach and of course in the nearby cities. So the watch I´ll bring will need to do the job both on the beach playing with my kids, both also with "semi-formal" wear in the evening. My collection includes several SS Rolexes, including Sub-C wich might be the obvious choice for the task. However I feel my green dial 116718 GMT MII 18k wants to join, and I really like to bring it. I´m all for using (not abusing) my watches, and this is in no way a safe-queen, but is it up for the task? |
