My SEA-DWELLER in TURKS & CAICOS
Dear Forum Friends:
I just came back from Turks and Caicos after spending a beautiful 4th of July weekend and all I can say is that I am very impressed with their beaches and the wonderful marine life that can be easily appreciated while snorkeling in very shallow waters (depths of 7-10 ft.). My wife and I went snorkeling around the Coral Gardens (The Bight Reef) and Smith's Reef. Highly recommended. Getting there: Very limited flights from the U.S. so we had to fly from Chicago to Charlotte, NC and then from there to Providenciales Airport. About to fill out immigration forms. The waters surrounding the islands and keys are spectacular. After arriving there I pampered myself to a good Cuban cigar and local Bambarra Reserve Rum (not as good as Zacapa but pretty tasty). The beaches are spectacular. Now the underwater obligatory shots of my watch and some marine life.
