Dear Forum Friends:

I just came back from Turks and Caicos after spending a beautiful 4th of July weekend and all I can say is that I am very impressed with their beaches and the wonderful marine life that can be easily appreciated while snorkeling in very shallow waters (depths of 7-10 ft.). My wife and I went snorkeling around the Coral Gardens (The Bight Reef) and Smith's Reef. Highly recommended.

Getting there: Very limited flights from the U.S. so we had to fly from Chicago to Charlotte, NC and then from there to Providenciales Airport.

After arriving there I pampered myself to a good Cuban cigar and local Bambarra Reserve Rum (not as good as Zacapa but pretty tasty).
