Update on ROLEX and the WSOP

58th World Series of Poker drew a record 75,672 participants, exceeding last years field by almost 3000.

Total prize pool is 191.9 million, up almost 4 million from last year

The main event, which began Thursday, has a prize pool of 64.5 million. The winner will receive a little more then 8.71 million.

693 people will be paid. 19.3k will be paid to 639th place.

8 of the final 9 players will be paid in excess of 1 million.
9th place will receive 782k.

The last 9 players will return in November to play for the championship.

And that's that.
