Endlinks for GMT II 16713 bracelet
Hi,
I recently inherited an S-series 16713, with no bracelet. I had it serviced at the Rolex Service Center here. Afterwards, they tried to sell me bracelet #78793 for quite a bit of money. I then pulled out a TT Datejust I own, with bracelet #78363, and asked them to remove it from the Datejust and fit it to the GMT. However, they told me the spring bars are too thin for the GMT and wouldn't do it! Later I figured out that you only have to change the endlinks mated to the 78363, from 458B to 401B. Then the thicker spring bars for the GMT will be able to run through the 401B endlinks. First, could someone tell me whether my thinking is correct? edited: Thank you very much.
