Just wondering who here has made money on a Rolex?

I have sold three Rolexes, broke even on two OQs and took a bath on a TT DJ. But in fairness the TT DJ was bought new close to retail (my first watch). And I know TT watches don't hold value as well as SS and DJs not as well as sport models. Lost about $2K.

But just wondering how many out there have made money. I get the feeling JJ does okay, but how about the restof you guys?

And how long does it take before the resale value of your watch catches up with the paid price? Maybe 2 to 3 years?

I bought by SS sub date for $3200 about 4 years ago, I think I am finally in the black on that one, but my other watches have some catching up to do.
