Gilt
Can someone explain and show an example of a watch with a nice gilt finish? People here have posted watches with gilt finishes, but for the life of me, I don't see anything extraordinary about them, and they don't fit the dictionary definition of gilt.
"Adjective: Covered thinly with gold leaf or gold paint. Noun: Gold leaf or gold paint applied in a thin layer to a surface." |
