Would you do this to your Rolex?

I have a sea dweller which I LOVE!! A friend of mine now wants to get one also. But he said when he gets his he was goin to replace the Luminova markers with small diamonds? Is this something that can be done and if so what do you guys think of it? Part of me sais leave the watch as is. It looks good in its original state. But in a way I wonder if would look fancy or cool. Since its does not have a cyclopse the diomonds would stand out. Well just a topic for some opinion.
