--Forgive me if I seemed "hidden." I went to this dealer with a relative and it seemed fairly legitimate. They had A LOT of watches from a variety of high-end brands. Am I positive it was a "AD?" Absolutely not. But I'm 85% sure it's a real Submariner. Their store was in the process of moving but it was quite large and packed with time pieces.

As the watch is from Italy, you purchased it from a grey-market dealer there and not an AD.
I for my part would be interested to know, how much you have paid, and where you have purchased it. I'd call the dealer to ask, if he has access to a perfect Sea Dweller 4000

--The price is
about $5.5K USD. My relative helped negotiate the price in Cantonese and apparently they had to pre-order it so I just paid and picked it up. I've sent my relative an email asking for the old store location so I could look it up. Pending his reply I'll keep you posted. Also, they did have the Sea Dweller, not sure if it was the 4000 but they definitely have some for sale.

Giving some information back would be a nice way of contributing too......
And don't worry, it looks like a perfectly all right 16,610 Submariner. Am I asking too much by asking you to share w us the price paid in Hong Kong Dollars?

--Hong Kong dollars would be hard but I paid
about $5.5K USD. There store was in the process of moving from an old location but it was full of high end time pieces and they were selling more Rolex's. I'm waiting for a reply from the relative who helped me pre-order the Sub. I'll keep you posted.
