What does RSC do for watches with dead tritium lume?
Watches from the mid to late-1990s were lumed in tritium, which is dead by now. If you want the dial and hands to still glow, will RSC give you a new dial and hands with the new luminova?
Okay, then what about this scenario: what if the old tritium dial is a Roman numeral Datejust? (these had tiny dots of tritium at the hour markers and on the hands.) The new Roman dials and hands have no lume at the markers at all. Would RSC relume the old dial and hands, or would they insist on replacement with non-lume dial/hands? |
