1925 Illinois Pocket Watch
Hey everyone. Today I am listing for sale my 1925 gold filled Illinois pocket watch. The case, dial and movement are in exceptional condition for the age and the god filled is not wearing through anywhere. The movement is stamped 17 Jewels Illinois Watch co. Springfield Double Roller. The serial number is stamped on all parts of the case and matches. The serial number of the movement is a 4.7XX.XXX which dates to 1925. The watch winds and sets smoothly but the watch runs very fast (aprox 8 minutes per day) in my usage. The crystal is in great shape and there is a very nice decoration on the case back of what looks like a garden surrounded by a guilloche background. The crown is very hard to pull out but you can do it with the right amount of pressure. This is a very nice piece and I am asking $150 paypaled and shipped conus. Thanks for looking,
