Oyster vs Turtle

Yesterday I waxed two Toyota 4 Runners. Used Turtle wax. Great job. They are our work cars so I could not farm out that job. Anyway when I was done I noticed that my Rolex was covered in Turtle Wax!

So now here I am wondering how the watch will fare. I mean it is waterproof so it ought to be gel-proof. It took a while to polish the watch, and it is all metal except for the crystal. Turtle was is not good on rubber or plastic. It tends to turn that stuff white. Well I polished and rinsed and I think I am okay. Every now and then I find a tiny piece of the dried wax poking its way out of the GMT ring.

What next? Am I going to have problems?

(And no the watch is not running slower)
