New axe (and I'm not talking about the spray)!
Greetings TRF,
I know I'm still new to this forum so a lot of you don't know me but those who do also know I'm a big fan of blues guitar and collecting axes them is my other sin! Unfortunately for my passion I'm a left handed and therefore I don't have a lot of choices when it comes to Gibson guitars but I really wanted that specific model and I thought I could try a little Hendrix trick! Please let me introduce you to my brand new...pre owned Gibson Reverse Firebird that has been "reversed"...again! Got it? (By the way, those four first pictures were taken before the modifications) Photo0124.jpg Photo0125.jpg As you can see it has a couple of scratches and dents on it but it doesn't change the way it sounds and, to be honest, I think it gives it quite a good look! Photo0126.jpg Photo0127.jpg And now, the Gibby sisters! Photo0128.jpg Photo0131.jpg Thank you for watching. Of course, as always, pictures of your guitars are appreciated! Now I'll just need to have a "left handed" nut placed on the neck and I'll be able to play it just like Johnny Winter...well...not like him but I'll try...we have the same guitar what else would I need!?
