These are the different movements AP uses for the Offshore series.

Caliber 2326 is the JLC-based movement found in the Rubber Clad and older Offshores.

The 3126 is the AP-based (3120 base) movement which is found in a number of Offshore models, including all current Safari, Navy, Volcano and the Grand Prix.

The chronograph module is a Dubois-Depraz, found in both the 2326 and the 3126, which sits at the top of the base movement.

I think I have read somewhere that because of the design of case/dial to the Dubois-Depraz movement, AP was forced to include an inverse cyclops over the date window, otherwise it'd too low/far away from the crystal.

Not a fan of AP, but if I "had" to get one, I'd probably go with the Diver
