Dilemma!

Hi everyone. I'm a long time lurker and a first time poster! I'm 19 now and for as long as I can remember I've wanted a Rolex, and I have almost gotten a few but never gone through with it. This Christmas, however, I'm going ahead with getting one. I'm not buying a brand new one and basically, for all intensive purposes, I have the choice between two - and it's confusing me!

Basically, I like the two watches that my parents are offering me, but I just have worries about owning one of them - the YG DD. Firstly, although I do really like it, I feel as if it's meant for 40+ year olds and that I'll spend the next twenty years with people thinking its fake, or people being jealous/weird about it. To add to the problem, it has a diamond dial (original, not aftermarket) which further makes it over 'bling-y'.

The second is a TT Sub with a black dial, which I like but not as much as the DD. I think it would be easier to just take the Sub, which is probably more age-appropriate.

The thing is that I feel like 20 years down the line I'm going to end up buying a DD anyway, so why take the Sub? Obviously I hope that when I'm able to pay for them myself that I can afford both, but who knows! I guess what I want to know from you guys (the experts!);

If you were 19 again and had to choose between a YG DD (with the diamond dial...) and a TT Sub, which would you take, and why?

Thanks guys!
