Opinion re V Series SS Daytona 2009 LNIB

Hi All, would really like all of your valuable input regarding my latest endeavor.

I have been searching the boards and locally for a SS Black Face Daytona V-series with then newest clasp. I have found a couple of them locally through non AD brick and mortar stores. They are running about $12k.

I ran across a "private party" who bought the Daytona new from an AD in September 2009, never worn all papers and stickers still intact. The private party allegedly never wore it, just put in safe.

I am thinking I can get this watch for somewhere in the $10,500 range. My only concern is "no warranty".

What are your thoughts regarding this deal? I guess the question lies, is it worth $1500 to take a chance on this watching having problems in the next two years?

Thanks in advance guys or gals,
