Tissot T-Touch Question?

I am looking for a casual sporty watch with a rubber strap to wear on the weekends or the gym etc etc. I am debating between the T-Touch II or the T-Touch Expert. I am not really seeing the big differences and I am debating between stainless steel or titanium. The AD said the titanium is far lighter and will not scratch as bad as the old titanium watches. He said they put a coating on their watches now and it is far better. I don't know if he is telling me the truth or not. He said the expert is the better watch but could not really explain why? The expert is more expensive so I don't know if it is worth the extra money and the dealer did not have a stainless in a rubber strap so I really could not compare the two to see if the titanium would really be that much lighter in a rubber strap. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again.
