I searched for this but could not find anything. If it has been discussed, please point me in the right direction.

The time has come to send my Explorer II to the spa. It will go to the RSC in Dallas. My questions are:

1) Do you guys normally send it directly to Rolex over registered mail, or do you have an AD send it to Rolex for you (I am afraid they will send it to their own watchmaker ... I only want Rolex to work on my baby)?

2) If you send it yourself, any packing tips (other than clear tape is a no-no according to Rolex).
