116520 datona winners watch 1992
Seller dopehousebargins
Watch says: Rolex Daytona 1992 Winners Watch 116520 Story behind the watch: Watch was aquired through a friend while throwing away his roommates belongings that were left behind. He found this watch in a bag, the roommate just up and left one day and was never seen again. He held on to the watch for about a year until he hit some hard times and since the watch was never claimed he sold it to me. I have taken this watch to at least a dozen jewelers to appraise it and the over all awnser was to send it away to officially certify it for a fee. Upon my own research on the web, it says 1st place winners watch from the 1992 race at Daytona that is sponsors once a year, as the engravings on the back of the watch specify, info found at wikipedia. Since I have received the watch I unfortunately tried to size it myself and misplaced a clasping piece missing in photos as shown. Watch has all engraved model #s on rim of face between band. other #s and writings also engraved on band as seen in photos. watch face says: oyster perpetual superlative chronometer offically certified cosmograph No Certificate of Authenticity HappyBidding http://www.ebay.com/itm/116520-DATON...item3a7076bfae |
