Icon5 Realistic resale value of Explorer 1655

First of all, hello to the group from a newbee member

As the proud owner of a new S/S Ceramic GMT, I am beginning to question keeping my Explorer 2 1655.

My question to the forum is how would you guys suggest selling my Explorer and what is a realistic price to ask, I have spoken to a London dealer who while helpful was interested in what price I would accept rather than what price I can realistically expect to achieve. Is it practical to use eBay, or would a serious buyer not consider purchasing from eBay (I am not sure I would on a Rolex).

My Explorer is pretty immaculate 1978 model with a 78360 strap, Original Box and bundle of Rolex Service Paperwork etc etc. But no Original guarantee. I have owned watch since 1985. I will be sad to let the Explorer go but I can’t really justify 2 Rolex.

Many Thanks for your advice.
