Help identifying a 1940s Rolex, please

I've just acquired this 1940s Rolex but can't seem to figure out exactly what it is. Here's what I know. INside caseback is stamped 4377 and below that, 4461. No serial numbers between lugs, or on movement, as far as I can tell.
dial has these numbeers: 10 1/2H 0508.
So...anyone know what this means? This is a manual movement and really cool. Just wonder what I have here...?
