Icon4 72 1603 DJ help

So I just got a 1603 about 3 weeks ago and when I got it I had no problems with the watch until about a couple days ago. I wear the watch daily from about 8am-11pm and these past couple of days it has died over night.. I've done some searching here and I've seen people talk about winding the watch I tried but it won't wind? The crown seems hard to turn and I didn't want to put any pressure and break anything so I didnt try to wind it although the crown does turn counter clockwise in the first position. Also when I e had to set the time due to it stopping when I go and lock the crown I hear a cracking noise? The previous owner said it was serviced late last year? (curious to know if it's still under warranty for a year since it was just serviced) But when I got it I did not recive a warranty card so should I contact him? Or just take it to an AD/ watchmaker who can check it out, sorry for the long post but I'm a noob!
Any input will help! Thanks!
