Datejust 6305 Serpico y Laino
Hi,
I am new in this forum, sorry about my english. I really need your advice. I am from Colombia. Today i discovered from someone whos is trying to sell a vintage Rolex Dayjust 6305 from an antique jewlery named Serpico y Laino in Caracas, Venezuela. the watch has in the dial the brand Serpico y Laino, it is a 18k with gold bracelet, and it also has red numbers in the date. the problem is he do not have any papers, certificate or the box. He just says that someone from venezuela brougth the watch many years ago and sold to him. as a gold watch and for the price he bougth it. another problem is, besides it has in the dial the name Serpico y laino the write in the dial is CHRONOMETRE, instead of Chronometer. It is possible that it clould happened or it is just a fake copy of the vintage 6305. the watch seems to work fine, and the mechanism seems to be correct. i can not revised it well, but i leave some pic of the watch. what do you think? it is worth to buy, or it just a fake? price. he ask usd $5.000 thaks for your help. |
