Characteristics of an SS Daytona Man

Now I was a devoted Boy Scout.... and a scout, as you know, is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, brave, thrifty, kind, clean and reverent. I think that is how the cool aid drink was burned into my psyche.....But a good cool aid drink it is I suppose, as such values do help a person in life, and continue to guide me.

Now, that is why I don't dick around with jamming my AD for big discounts. Heck, he will send me clients. I don't need to save $500. I get a client from him and I make 10 time that on a bad day. So why should I not be a boy scout with my AD and let him make a little profit at MRSP or at 5% if offered.

So I was thinking, knowing Tom and his loyalty, that if you are an SS owner, you either did a dumb thing and spent 12K at a grey dealer, or you were a good and patient AD customer, and got it for list.

And so some of the positive qualities of an SS Daytona owner, in my mind, are: patience, loyalty, and generosity. So maybe the quest for an SS Daytona obtained via AD includes a mini values lesson. I do respect Tom (Kansaivet) and Blue Bull greatly as I know how long they waited and toiled in the valley.... and how much business they gave their dealers. That is probably the case for anyone who "gets the call" for the wonderful watch.
