eBay Zenith scam
Not a Rolex, but Rolex did use the same movement in its Daytona.
I saw this Zenith A386 El Primero posted on eBay France: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221005352764 The background in the pictures looked familiar and a quick search confirmed that the pics are stolen from this for sale listing: http://www.exoticwatches.net/browse.asp?C=45&P=1 They did a good job removing the watermark, but the photos are clearly the same. I've sent a note to eBay, but in my experience, it takes someone with an inside connection to get something like removed and I know some of the guys that monitor this forum have such connections, so I am reaching out here. Can anyone help get this removed? I'd obviously hate to see any collector lose a big chunk of $$ on this. Cheers, Jon |
