Am I missing something?
First let me say that I wish all sellers get as much as they can for their watches. That is the goal of anyone selling something. Having said that I notice at any given time there are 1300+ Daytona's on Ebay. They run the gamut from vintage of which I am not referring ie: Paul Newman. I am referring to modern watches that are used or claimed to be new. Many without all the original items. Many are asking retail and more for used watches. I own other items of collectible value and most are down 30% as far as value for selling purposes. In this economy it is not a great time to sell anything. If you truly want to sell something, accept the current market, price accordingly, and move on, otherwise IMO the watch won't sell regardless how many times it is advertised. I know that I would like to buy a relatively new Daytona with all boxes, paper, and tags. Not for a lowball price, just a reasonable one.
