Icon5 White gold Rolex Day-Date or White gold Omega Constellation?

A friend of mine asked me this question and I was unable to answer, since I have never owned, any of these watches.

He is toying with the idea of buying, either a white gold Rolex Day-Date model reference 1803 or a white gold Omega Constellation 'C' model reference 168009.

Which of the two is rarer and also, which of the two will keep its value better, if and when he wants to re-sell it, after a period of time to upgrade. Between the two time-pieces, which one will be more more desired by collectors, in the long run?
