LV Bezel Insert ?

Was thinking a spare green insert for my 16610LV might be a good idea. Who knows what they'll cost in the futue and barring war or famine this is a keeper.

A quick search found a few selling for $500. more or less, from trusted forum sellers and ebay.

Called RSC Toronto and was informed the everyday price is $90 on an exchange basis only, and only they perform the exchange.

I politely ask if it's remotely possible that they are confusing the price of the black insert with the green, and was told no, you can bank on it.

Asked my AD to see if he could source one for a reasonable price with no exchange. He said they need to provide a serial # to order the black insert with no exchange nessessary. He has never ordered the green, but will look into it.

I know the ways of Rolex are a mystery to say the least, but this is begining to sound too bizarre.

If any other 16610LV owners have had any insert experiences could you please share.
