Little Help Please

I am being offered BNIB SS white face Daytona at MSRP. I saw the watch and found out that even it is BNIB but it's a D serial. Here I stop and wander about it .
Therefore the question: If the D serial had the new blue spring in it? If not, how much of differents will there be in between this D and other newer ones.

Well, since I will be paying full MSRP for it, should I take it? Or wait for the next one...

I need to let him know before end of Friday.. HELP !!!
