Good deed for the day

Met with a business associate yesterday, and noticed he was wearing a GMT. I, being a WIS and knowing I wasn't going to offend by mentioning it said nice Rolex!
He then went on to tell me his dad bought it in the 70's and he inherited it from his dad in the 80's when he passed on. He'd been wearing it solidly for 20-something years with one service. It was really in need of a bath and he mentioned he didn't know where to take it for a service as the last guy had charged a bomb and stuffed up the job twice.
So I did what any of us would do; I gave him the name and number of the watchmaker I use.

May it live another 30 something years!
