Tudor Black Bay questions...
I am REALLY loving this watch. I like the domed crystal gilt dial markings, gold snowflake hands and burgundy bezel ...
I am interested in finding a gently used one on the forums in the hopefully near future, however I have 2 very imp questions which I'd like to have some info on... 1) I know this watch houses the 2824 movement. Does it mean that the crown changes the date in the first position? In other words is there a useless date wheel under the dial? Or does the crown has only 2 positions (one for winding and the other to set the time) ala Rolex 3035 in say the 14060M? I would be glad to have some answers as this would be a 100% deal breaker for me ... 2) Why oh why did Tudor make such a nice watch then mess it up with a funky, gawd awful crown ? Do you know if there are any interchangeable crowns for this watch? Thanks for any help .... |
