The perfect watch, does it really exist???
Do you feel there is such a thing as the perfect watch? The watch you love without compromising a single thing.
For example I would love the Sub-c... if it had: - 16610 Case size (still want the new bracelet etc) - Red Submariner text I would get the GMTII-c at once... if: - It had the smaller bezel font (16710), not the cartoonish ones - 16710 case size (not a fan of the new wider lugs) A Daytona 116505 would be perfect..if: - The were no criminals wanting to rob you of yout fine watch. - If the boss at the office wouldnīt look at you and think "who the h*ll does he think he is wearing a $30K watch" - If the general Svenska Avundsjukan (Swedish envy) didnīt exist The Patek 5146J-001 would look almost perfect if: - If they changed the dial and removed the three number markers to the simple sticks At the moment the watch thatīs closest to perfection is the JLC Reverso. But still, I would like it to be rugged and water resistant as a Rolex. The search will continue for me and I guess I will own every Rolex model available until I find what I am looking for.
