datejust authenticity

hi folks,

i've got some questions about a Rolex i've got, and thought I'd check here since my googling has proved fruitless.

i've had this rolex for approximately 5 years. a friend needed to borrow money for rent, and gave me this watch as collateral that she would pay me back. i guess its clear she never paid me back.

anyhow, i'd put the watch away and hadn't even seen it til just a couple weeks ago because I'd forgot I even had it. At first, I thought the battery was dead because it'd been in a closet for 3 years but when i put it on it started working. the time is correct, the date is wrong. there is no rolex service center or store near me. the closest is at least an hour and a half away. i'd like to know if this watch is authentic or a fake before i drive all the way to have it serviced.
  • it is stainless steel. the face reads "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust" underneath the 12 location. There is the Crown in place of the 12.
  • the date is in place of the 3
  • Underneath the hands it says "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified"
  • Underneath the 6, it says "Swiss Made" and looks like it either has a small cross or T on either side
  • The second hand does not tick from second to second. It sort of just moves.
  • The dial to set the watch has a Crown on it.
  • On the clasp area, one of the clasps reads "STEELINOX" on the left, Rolex logo in the middle, and "H12, SWISSMADE, 62510D" on the right of the logo
  • The other clasp only has a Rolex logo.
  • The part that clamps down has a Crown
  • On both ends of the band where it meets the watch face, it has the number 16610 stamped in it.
  • On the backside of the face, there is the number 045 stamped on diagonal ends where the band is clamped in.

I do not know how to remove the band to find the serial number. The guides I've seen say to use a pin or something sharp to push the pin in on the band but I don't even see where these pins are. If pics are needed, I will try to take pics of the watch. Not sure how much detail I can get in the pic though.

If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated and valued! Thank you!
