Quiz Time!!

Hi fellas,

Friday morning here so what the heck?? I'll get straight to the point...

Weight of the TT Blue Sub = 148 grams.
Weight of the TT Blue YM = 146 grams.

Thickness of Sub = 13 mm
Thickness of YM = 12 mm

The Sub has ONE extra link, a longer 8-holed clasp (as compared with the YM's shorter 6-holed one). The Sub also has a flat extension link.

Both watches have hollow centre gold links and both weights are with ALL original links straight out of the Rolex box.

Question: Why then is the weight of the YM so close (and virtually negligible) as compared with that of the Sub's?

Cheers - JJ
