Rolex forgot to include the warranty?

Hey guys,

A few weeks ago, I bought a brand new Explorer I from this AD in NJ. The AD said that the watch didn't come with the warranty, and that sometimes "Rolex forgets to include them with their watches sometimes." They then said that I should get one the following week. No warranty as of yet.

Does this stuff happens sometimes, and it's nothing to worry about? I just wanted to ask since I'm new when it comes to Rolex watches.

Thanks.
