Icon14 Just picked up a MINT 16520 Daytona A series White Dial

I just picked a very mint condition A series Zenith movement white dial.

I am a Panerai collector and this is my first Rolex as i am a 44mm or 47mm big face watch fan.

I finally decided to get a 16520 over a 116520 and am very happy with the purchase and love the way it sits on my wrist.

I am taking it to Rolex at BH next week to get a full service for good measure and get a brand new bezel as there is a tiny dot of a nick on the bezel which only i can see. I know i am extremely anal.

The one thing I noticed it that i cannot see what time it is at night when it is dark. Is it normal that you can't see this for watches produced in 1999?

Is this something they can fix at service??
