Basel Show in Vancouver, Canada

went to what they called a "Basel" show (sp) today at an AD in Vancouver Canada. Had some pretty funky looking models, along with quite a few new models that were kind of "old school" looking, with nice brown leather bands, tobbacco colored dials, etc. Some not too bad, some very "showy" with loads of diamonds and bling. Looks like Rolex is diversifying, trying to appeal to a wider, maybe younger market, while still keeping the traditional appeal to the Boomers as well. Looks to me like they may have hit the nail on the head, so to speak. Wider variation of styles, to appeal to more, still with the Rolex quality. I stll like the traditional Datejust & Sub, but I'm old, so this could be an excellent marketing move for Rolex, at just the right time. What do you think?
