18k yellow gold Daytona model and price?

I've been offered a trade for an 18k yellow gold Daytona w/ a white face and 8 diamonds on the dial. The seller described it as "The Daytona is a superlative chronometer and oyster perpetual. As well as 18k. It is from the early 90s, late 80s."

Waiting on a picture and will obviously meet at an AD before making the trade, but wondering if anyone can help me on what model# this could be and an approx range of value depending on the condition?

I'm trading 2 lots of land valued at $19k combined, so I want to make sure that I"m making a good trade if it goes through.

Thanks!

Marc
