I believe the watch is sold with a brown band that is excellent for casual wear--perhaps a bit pushy for a Cucinelli outfit, but great with jeans. With a black strap it should work with any dark suit and shoes and still be appropriate with jeans. And if you got a brightly colored or interestingly textured strap (red stingray or ostrich toe or even recycled baseball--I'm not kidding) it would work with any outfit in a more sophisticated or hip milieu.
