Rolex Silver Datewheel , a couple of questions,

I am clearing out some of the bits and pieces from my spare-parts box.
I found this silver datewheel , which I originally bought to replace a Rolex
service dial. I believe this wheel is for a 1680-1655 and is not suitable for a 1675. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is , I tried researching it , but my feeble old brain can't cope with all the 'open 6's and open or or half open 9's ' you will have got my drift ? Is it worth selling or do I put it away again and let my son sort it all out after I've gone to join the ancestors ? I would appreciate any advice.
